Anima's age is around 60. She is a retired schoolteacher. He spent his life in the village with great difficulty. Anima is teaching at Badagachhi High School in Kalna, Burdwan. At that time the distance from his house to school was a lot. There were no direct motor vehicles to travel. So he used to travel every day on foot.
Anima had a different attitude towards the game from a young age. Hobby was never fulfilled due to lack. Eventually, after retiring from his career, he set his walking ability as the goal of fulfilling his desires.
Anima continues to participate in various walking competitions organized in India. Gradually success also begins to catch on.
Finally, Anima has brought an opportunity to make the Bengalis proud by winning gold in the International Masters Track and Field Championship in Singapore.
