Manchester City regained the top spot after defeating Arsenal

Once again, Arsenal was stuck near Manchester City.

Mikel Arteta couldn't stay calm despite being at the top of the league points table for more than three months. Because there were two matches left against Manchester City. In the first of those two, Arsenal lost 3-1 at home to Pep Guardiola's side.

This rate has dropped from the number one position in the points list. After 22 matches, Arsenal's points are 52, Manchester City's 52 after playing one more match. However, after the first week of November leading on goal difference, City are once again ahead of everyone in the title race.

Arsenal tried to create pressure from the beginning of the match. City tended to build up slowly. Arsenal created the first chance of the match to create the possibility of a goal. In the 22nd minute Jinenko's cross found Eddie Nketia inside the box. However, the English striker's head was not on target. Goes out of the post. Manchester City scored two minutes later. The source of which was Takihiro Tomiyasu's wrong pass. Tomiyasu flicked the ball towards goalkeeper Ramsdell to 'clear' the ball away from Jack Grealish, who was sticking by. Kevin De Bruyne took the opportunity to quickly move forward and reach the ball. The Belgian midfielder sent the ball over his head into the net as Ramsdale came forward. This is his first goal in the current Premier League.

Two minutes later Tomiyasu had a chance to make amends. He volleyed Gabriel Martinelli's extended ball almost unguarded or on his feet. But the ball goes over the bar.

Arsenal, however, did not have to go to the second half to repay the goal. In the 39th minute, Arsenal got a penalty when Nketia, who went very close to the goal with the ball, was blocked by Elson. Bukayo Saka brought the team to equality using that.

However, the Gunners could not be found in the second half.

City took control of the match by attacking one after another. Jack Grealish scored the second goal in the 72nd minute. Goalkeeper Ramsdale was always the target of an unguarded Grealish's shot. However, the ball hit Tomiyasu's feet and went into the net.

Holland scored City's third goal ten minutes later. This is his 26th goal in the league.
